The New England Patriots won the AFC Championship game in a true Patriots style come from behind 24-20 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Is this part of the reason why the National Football League has been struggling lately?
While we all knew deep down that this was exactly how it was going to play out, I want to take a second to give the Jacksonville Jaguars props for playing their hearts out all season and making their way to the AFC Championship game. They should be proud of everything they have accomplished this season and use this as motivation to come back even better next year.
Is anybody (minus Pats fans) excited about them heading back to the Super Bowl? Or are you (like me) over the whole Patriots Super Bowl trips?
It has made me wonder if maybe this is part of the National Football League’s rating issues because it’s the same teams dominating year in and year out. Which if you think about it could be a logical conclusion to make because who really wants to watch the same teams dominating the league year in and year out. Although that’s not necessarily a knock on the Pats, blame can be placed on every single ownership that failed to put together a winning team.
So really no matter who wins in the NFC Championship game I’m already pulling for them to end the Pats Super Bowl dominance because it’s 2018 and I’m ready for a change.
